This year's Closing Ceremonies and Hit-A-Thon will be held on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1ST. Below is the tentative agenda.
4:30 - T-ball Hit-A-Thon at the Majors Field
4:30 - Juniors Hit-A-Thon at the Juniors Field
5:00 - Farm Hit-A-Thon at the Majors Field
5:30 - Minors Hit-A-Thon at the Majors Field
6:00 - Majors Hit-A-Thon at the Majors Field
6:30 - Parade, Closing Ceremonies, All Star Announcements, and Elections for 2017
on getting those Hit-A-Thon pledges, and pease let your team manager
know if your child(ren) is(are) participating in the Hit-A-Thon, so we
can adjust the timeline based on the number of batters we'll have.
Register your hitter at the webpage below or ask your manager for a donation sheet and get as many donations as you can before the event! Donations can be made as a flat donation or a per hit donation.
It's election time again, and we are looking for YOU to run for a position on the Board. Do you want to help our league continue to be strong? Do you want to help the league continue to improve? Here are the positions on which we will vote in the coming weeks:President: Overall responsibility for the running of the leagueVice President: Assists the PresidentSecretary: Maintains a register of members and meeting minutes;Player Agent: Conducts annual tryouts; in charge of player selection process;Safety Officer: Coordinates all safety activitiesTreasurer: Prepares the league budget; manages expenses and income; reports on league financial statusUmpire In Charge (UIC): Schedules umpires for games; coordinates an umpire training clinic;Coaching Coordinator: Help our coaches and managers to be better at their positions.
Committee Member Positions - These are the positions that are selected by the incoming Board of Directors.
Field Maintenance - Maintains the fields and miscellaneous other “handy man” type of work.Snack Shack - Runs the Snack Shack!Volunteer Coordinator: Ensures we have appropriate levels of volunteers for the games.Sponsorship Coordinator: Coordinates and contacts existing and new sponsors.Equipment Manager: Manages all equipment;Division Reps: We need a representative for each Division (T-ball; Farm; Minors; Majors; Juniors). These people are the liaison between the players, parents, managers, and the board. You may not be a representative for a division in which your child plays or your spouse manages/coaches.Interleague Rep: Schedules all of the games for the league from T-ball through Juniors.Fall Ball Coordinator: Responsible for running Fall Ball for the 2017 season

The Annual General Meeting of Nevada City Little League was held Sept 14th, 2015 with the passing of our amended Constitution and the welcoming of our 2015-2016 Board and Committee Members.
We have created a new position: Coaching Coordinator. We hope this change will bring better support to our coaches, parents and volunteers with better communication and overall experience for players, parents and supporters.
